SERGEANT
Sergeant, an avant-pop band led by cineast Benjamin Cools and actor Ferre Marnef, blends post-punk and krautrock with indie rock. Their self-titled debut album, released by experimental label STROOM, features nine poetic tracks created using analog loops and DIY recording techniques. The album's dense, textured sound reflects their Brussels home. Mixing by Milan Warmoeskerken adds depth. Previously, Cools and Marnef worked with Soldier's Heart and Tibaldus.
